Who We Are
Cunmi is a diesel generator set manufacturer based in Xiamen, China. We assemble, test and export complete power packages from 10 kVA to 4,000 kVA.
Our purpose
Keep critical operations running when the grid cannot.
A generator set is not a commodity. It is the part of the building that has to work on the worst day of the year — when the mains fails, the weather is against you and the load cannot wait.
Everything in our process is organised around that moment: the engine and alternator we specify, the enclosure we build, the load test we run before shipment and the spares we hold afterwards.
Who We Are
A manufacturer, not a middleman
Cunmi is based in Xiamen, on China's southeast coast, and manufactures in the same province. From the beginning the business has been a manufacturer rather than a trading company: we buy engines and alternators, and we assemble, wire, test, paint and pack the finished generator set ourselves.
That distinction matters commercially. Because we control assembly and testing, we can commit to a delivery date and stand behind it. Because we are not tied to a single engine platform, we can specify the engine that genuinely suits the duty cycle rather than the one that happens to be in the warehouse.
Today Cunmi builds across sixteen engine platforms, four product lines and a 10 kVA to 4,000 kVA range, and ships to projects in Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, South America and Europe — supported by a distributor network rather than a single sales office.

These are working rules rather than slogans: each one changes what we do on a project.
Own the date we quote
Assembly, wiring, testing, painting and packing all happen under our control, so a delivery commitment is something we can hold rather than pass on.
State the limits before the order
Where a requirement falls outside our range or our evidence, we say so during specification — not after the purchase order is signed.
Stay accountable after handover
Commissioning support, operator training and a regional spare-parts holding for the life of the asset, not just until the invoice is paid.
